MEET ME FOR THE 8TH RABBIT ROUNDUPSCHOLARSHIP
Plans are being made for another fun
weekend October 15-16 to meet with
old friends and classmates. The
first event is an 11:00 brunch at
the Lonoke County Museum to honor
the class of 1960 who is celebrating
their 50th reunion. The annual
parade will begin at 4:00, and Judy
King has graciously agreed to be the
alumni coordinator again this year.
Please call Judy at 501-676-6657 by
October 8 if your class plans to
enter a float or vehicle in the
parade as she likes to line up the
entries according to their
graduation year. Remember, the
Jackrabbits are playing the Cave
City Cavemen – should be inspiration
for some clever floats. Prizes of
$100, $50, and $25 will be awarded
for first, second and third place
winners again this year, and all
floats will be eligible for judging.
To get fully immersed in school
spirit, you may want to catch the
1:30 pep rally in the high school
gym. Homecoming festivities begin at
6:00 and the “Mighty Rabbits” will
take on the Cave City Cavemen at
7:00. The Rabbits have gone 4-0 this
year, so let’s cheer them on to the
championship.

he planning committee meets at 6:30 P.M. the fourth Tuesday
of each month at the Lonoke Depot. Your input is needed, so come on out and help
to plan a fun event for the 8th annual homecoming on October 15-16.
