Lonoke
County Champs (when all the schools in the county were the
same classification & being County Champs was big.) Coach
Jack Dodson. I believe they were the first Lonoke team to go
to the State Playoffs but, were beaten by Stephens. Johnny
Glover (27) was nominated for the High School All-Star team
that year. 11 yrs later, Lonoke won its 1st State basketball
championship( 1969) |
