He was voted Coach of theYear in '78 and '81.; Athletic Director of the year at Texarkana; awarded the Curt King Award; President of the Ark High School Assoc.;All Star head coach; President of NIAAA; Lowell Manning recipient; Hall of Fame Inductee; won 18 conference championships; and coached in all 5 classifications over six decades.
